You're obviously going to pay more considering you're paying a commission to the service as well as paying Japanese shipping from the retailer to the service, but you should look around at several services, they charge you differently.
Some charge based on percent of total cost, some charge a flat rate for anything under a price line.
I've paid like maybe 10$ for 100$ worth of goods before, and I've been screwed badly as well and paid more for shipping and service just because I used a bad service, or I used one that charges a flat rate when I should have used one based on percentage.
If you're smart though, ultimately you'll come out on top.
