Yeah, I lied to sound more funny and relatable. I've had a pretty good idea of what he's saying, and I know all the terms already.
Sorry! (> •́)ᕗ
I love how the MTL manages to simultaneously confuse kemonos with kemoners and kemonomimis, doing the buffalo-buffalo-buffalo-buffalo on the title while also telling you how important it is not to confuse them.
And calling kyoanas four-spotted zoophilias is gold. I mean, the original does say four-legged animal/zoophilia, it just confused middle-dot for a katakana space instead of a general separator.
Actually, I double-lied. I've got no idea what 半獣 is supposed to be. Could it be the mythical... furless kemono?
Hanjuu. It means half-beast, but literally. Like centaurs or satyrs. Literally Faputa, though with all the extra appendages she's more like a 6.67-beast.
The pinned thread is long overdue to get cleaned up from ancient announcements and reworded to sound less socially inept, and this guy's lessons are a total pin-material. Long ago I've found a pixiv westerner that drew both furries and kemono-likes, and he had a kemono scale that went furry to kemono, with arrows pointing out the exact stylistic details. It's a shame I had no idea how useful something like that would be now.
What makes kemonos so special goes way beyond just the style, but it would still be great to clarify the technical differences.
