Copying the list(s) here just in case. I looked for the English titles of all the games for maximum convenience.

Wholeheartedly agree on the #1 on the list, although I really recommend playing the first game first, because Klonoa 2 is an outstanding sequel. Much like how Re: Rise was a fantastic sequel that improved a lot on Build Divers, except that Klonoa 1 was actually great already.
It's pretty criminal not to see Solatorobo on the list, and I personally miss Nine Sols, which is a much more kemoner game than some really dubious choices here. And if we include non-Asian games I think it would have been nice to see Ori and the Blind Forest on some list too.
Surprised to see Super Lucky's Tale making it to a top 10, not kemono either, but I enjoyed it a lot. Doubly surprised that they list the original instead of the remake (New Super Lucky's Tale), I think most people preferred the remake but I liked the original better too.
I had never heard of many of these games, it was funny that Tokyo Jungle sounds a lot like a Japanese version of Stray, except that a decade before Stray. It's a shame it's for PS3 and emulation is kind of goddamn awful unless you have a supercomputer, so I don't think I'll be able to play it any time soon. For that matter, I remember that there was a game inspired by Stray and it had a very Japanese aesthetic so it's totally honorary kemono, Little Kitty, Big City.
Oh, also, three Pokémon games but no Palworld? Hmm, I see Nintendo bribed someone...
